Nearly the end of January !

I had a long day at work today and felt like chilling while they were all watching the footie- so I sat myself down and decided it was time I scrapped another Portugal photo and then I found one of the Castle in Germany we went to in September so I did a layout of that too. One of my good friends has her son's 18th coming up soon and he loves his music and plays the guitar so that was a really good excuse to use the Rockstar stack I've had sitting on my shelf for ages waiting for me to come up with something - hope he likes it!,and now it's late so I'm off to bed....

Another week gone !

Yet another week has gone by and not much time for crafting..
Mum had asked me to make her a card for a friend of theirs who was turning 80 and loved gardening so I found a Paper Nation man and hopefully made one that they will like.I have been dying to play with my new K & CO smitten paper and die cuts - I do love K & Co- and I also had a delivery yesterday of the new Basic Grey Two Scoops so I had to have a little look at that too. Here's what I came up with. Not sure what wording to put on the one with the single heart at the top as i was thinking of using it for an Anniversary card so haven't put anything on it yet....

Winter Layouts

I went to a scrapbooking crop at our local craftshop today and we did Winter and Christmas layouts. The snowy one was actually last January when It snowed and I walked to work armed with camera and the tree is this year's.It was great to escape for a few hours and has got me inspired to do more so that can't be a bad thing... I bought some lovely swirls see through rubber stamps so I might have to have a play with them very soon !

A couple of Layouts

I always keep my tickets from any concerts I go to so have done a layout with the Simply Red ticket I had from when I went to see then at the Albert Hall, Take That's the next one to be done! I had a text from an old friend ages ago to say that her dog had died which made me really sad as I was very fond of him. When he was a puppy she would very often ring me and say 'this puppy's driving me nuts' so i'd go round and have a cuppa with her and a cuddle with him, so I decided to scrap a photo of him- bless him .

Well,January is always a busy time of year in the Accounting world and this year is no exception so I have been very bad at updating my Blog...
I had a go at the doing a card from the CPS (Card Positioning System) Blog which was a week or so ago,it's the one with the black background, and I turned the design round slightly. Thought I would use some K & Co rub ons that I had on the little green scalloped circle I put on the front.
I made a couple of other cards, one with the remnants of a lovely K & Co kit I had and one with just a Penny Black sticker - I highlighted the image with Glossy Accents.
