D & D Challenge ...

I'm having a week off this week which is great as I am doing exactly what I often want to do and that is just be lazy and get some of those odd jobs done that always get overlooked when working all the time, and if i want to sit and read a scrapbooking mag - I can! My friend Deb came over today and brought cup cakes with her, we had a lovely time catching up and as we both seem to have lost our mojo we decided to do a silly challenge to get us moving. My youngest son took a photo of us and we both decided to scrap the photo and see what we both come up with.So here's mine.

A play and a page

We went to see my eldest son's girlfriend Emily in "Sweeney Todd" tonight, her mum and brother were in it too.I have to say that I didn't really know the story - just that he murdered people and made pies out of them. I found out that he also had an accomplice in Mrs Lovett who owned the shop he used. It was a good play and very professional.Emily is the one fiddling with her hat as it's about to fall off !
I enjoyed the page we did here at the weekend.Haven't finished the second page yet- will blog it when it's done.

A little bird book

I can't believe how quickly the weekend has gone, and not very nice weather to boot, have made a little birdy mini book that was a project on the Jenni Bowlin website,I just need to get either some rings or something to put through the holes I made with the Cropadile to keep it all together.I also did a page of my Nan and Granddad's wedding way back in the 1920's. Hope everyone has a nice Tuesday back in the routine after the nice weekend off.

Well Impressed

Wow,I have just been having a play in Picasa and have managed to make a collage of the photos I took at Lionel's concert last week. I absolutely love his music and really enjoyed seeing him again for the umpteenth time. I've taken pics before but recently discovered 'Picasa' which you can download for free and am very chuffed!!!

An Altered Box

I have been soooooo busy over the last week I haven't done much crafting. Anyway I've finally got round to posting the little altered box that looks like a book that I did at Scrap and Chat with Carley last week. I really enjoyed doing it and it's inspired me to do an altered book, which I've wanted to have a go at,so have just ordered me some nice papers and have some embellishments already to work with,so as work at home has calmed a bit now month end is over - I am going to shut myself away and have a play at altering that book!
