Where on earth has the last week and a bit gone??
My life at the moment has been in and out of the car travelling to dad's - shopping - washing- making numerous visits to the chemist and the hospital as well as working-. So life - as we know it Jim -has kind of been on hold.. Dad is starting to feel a tiny bit stronger each day - we have to go back and forth to the hospital weekly for warfarin blood tests to check levels and have some care into place now ,so I hope things will start to even out a tiny bit now.
I've really really missed my bloggy visits and am now taking some time out to have a surf around and see what has been going on...
I really really want to try and do Project Life this year, but it's printing photos out (or having some to print!!) each week that is the problem for me - and do I really want to be reporting on hospital stuff and all that ? I suppose that's what it is - life !
I hardly took any photos over Christmas and New Year but have one of a card I made in December for a friend and also a couple of random Christmas ones of a certain little dog who had a new coat - his real one's not warm enough !!!!

That's a lovely card (and canine companion!) - I am empathising with you over the content of recording days which seem to be enveloped around hospitals, doctors, appointments etc.n and hoping the car journeys do not take up too much energy/time - but, as you say, I guess that is indeed life as it is being lived. :) Hoping you keep your Project Life going ..
So lovely to see you back in blogland and we really missed you yesterday xxx
I missed you yesterday Den.
I know what you mean about hospitals and warfarin. My father in law has had similar problems and he was in hospital at the same time as my husbands aunt during the run up to Christmas. Sadly she died and my FiL is now lonely and grieving as they lived together. As my husband shared the care for them it has been a difficult time and it may not make for exciting blog posts, but it is part of life, and when you look back I'm sure you will be glad that it was recorded. I continue to do Project 365, and some of my photos are really mundane. But it is a pictorial diary and I love that it reflects real life. Good luck with Project Life and I hope your dad continues to make good recovery.
That doggie photo is wonderful....our little Stella doesn't have a warm enough coat either!!
Glad to hear your dad is a bit better.
It's good to see you and hear a catch up. Days full of hospital visits certainly do seem to pass in a blur and I'm hoping that if things settle down a bit you will have a bit of time to yourself to get creative
Welcome back Denise & I can empathise with those trips back & forth to the hospital etc...our Christmas/New Year went along the same theme!
Project Life is a big undetaking isn't it & I admit that I took a sum total of FIVE photo's over the whole festive season!! I just wasn't motivated!!! But Karen completed her 2011 albums & they are amazing, so I say, if you can, go for it...all the good & the bad stuff...I'm actually going to 'Document 2012' month by month using Shimelle's Document 2010 format...I think I stand a better cahence of keeping up monthly!!! Check it out...I think it's still archived at UKS! :)
Glad to see you back in Blogland and to hear there's a slight improvement with your dad
Alison xx
I've been thinking of you and your Dad, and glad to hear he's doing well. Make sure you look after yourself too - hospital visits take a toll.
Glad to hear you're doing some creative projects too and aawwww bless, someone is going to be looking super cool and warm :)
May 2012 be your year xxx
You know my heart goes out to you at the moment Denise and I'm so sorry you are having to face all this. Life really is full of ups and downs and it's hard to believe that you had such a lovely holiday with you and your dad last year and now you are spending so much time together in hospitals.
Take good care of yourself xxx
Hey, friend, I have been thinking about you and sending you good thoughts and love as I know this is a very trying time for you. I'm glad you found some time for a quick blog post - it's so fun to see your sweet pup with that sweater on. :o) Hang in there, Denise. You have lots of friends who wish you (and your dad) well. xo!
I'm glad your dad is getting better Denise, all the best :)
