Catching Up - Stop the Clocks

I've missed blogging a couple of promts from Shimelle's class, one of them was name a poem that has inspired you or means something to you. Well - not being really into poetry, the only one that sticks in my mind and actually had an effect on me was the one that John Hannah recited in Four Weddings and a Funeral- 'Stop the Clocks' that always gets me when I hear that and the way he delivered it in the film really moved me- especially as it was s fun film too. So that being a bit depressing, music plays a big part in our household and many many lyrics are very special. Here is a snippet of the lyrics from 'Melee' 'Built to last ' It's a great song and has really meaningful lyrics - a real singalongy song too.Am now off to finish my 'Time'and 'Travel' layouts - am loving this class.

I've looked for love in stranger places
but never found someone like you
someone whose smile
makes me feel I've been holding back
and now there's nothing I can't do

cause this is real, and this is good
it warms the inside just like it should
but most of all
most of all, it's built to last
it's built to last

now look, where we are
you're in my heart now
and there's no escaping it for you

cause this is real, and this is good
it warms the inside just like it should
but most of all
most of all, it's built to last

walking on the hills at night
with those fireworks and candlelight
you and I were made to get love right
