We had all arranged to be at our laptops/computers at a certain time all courtesy of Deb Turtle ( I always feel weird calling her that, but her blog name is Paperturtle and I suppose we recognise who it is by saying that!) Anyway,I digress- Deb-from Deb's world and a friend of mine who lives not too far away - just to confuse the issue - came over to mine and we got ready in front of the laptop. We had a lovely couple of hours just catching up and generally chatting and I've at last done a layout to keep as a memento of it..I used some more of the papers and cardstcok and bits from the Gottacraft kit again..
Journalling reads .....
On the screen from left to right is Deb and her daughter Carrie ,then Ruth, then Rhona.Next row down is Mel and Karen .Then at the bottom is myself and Deb..
I must say- after a few tiny little teething troubles it all went very well !
Hope we can do it again soon

I love how you've been using the kits! I've been scrapping madly over the weekend and have managed to use up some of mine, too - I recognise that border sticker from one of yesterday's efforts chez Melsh.... Thanks for this reminder of a really lovely afternoon, I've missed blogworld lately so it's been so good to catch up here xx
What a super idea, perfect layout too x
What a great 'document' of that historic Snday!! I'm sure you'll do it again soon!! :)
Yes it was a lovely afternoon and I am now sitting her is a contented smile on my face remembering it. xxx
For the record, I LOVE being called DebTurtle!!! So don't feel the least bit weird about it. And I love that you created a beaufiful layout of our special meeting. Makes me feel happy all over again! xo
Wow that layout is stunning
How lovely to chat together over the internet; how lovely to scrap all about it afterwards!
Skype was so wonderful for us last year, when DH was working in Stockholm for 6 months. He was often away for 2 weeks at a time and we could talk to him every evening, before DS went to bed - they even played "Warhammer" battles online at the weekend, once we managed to sort out how to set up my laptop, so it picked up the game on-screen - all laid out on a huge bit of board on the floor!
Great scrap page - the design is lovely, as well as the subject.
This is fab Denise - I just love the way it brings everything together, the blogging and the chatting and the scrapbooking and the making friends. It's a really happy souvenir.
Beautiful layout! I love the papers you have used and the touches of bling... Sounds like a lovely afternoon :)
I'm just now seeing this - a bit behind on my blog reading! :)
