Sian's Storytelling Sunday post -on a Monday...
Not only have I been busy - it's actually sunny today - yay! Well- a little bit sunny..
Anyway, I have had a really crafty two days and enjoyed every minute.Saturday it was off to Eclectic Keepsakes with the lovely ladies there. it's always such a lovely day.I spent the morning doing my own things and managed two layouts- one with the new Scrapagogo April kit and one with bits of my stash and a background paper from the last GoGo kit.
Then it was time for Ann's class - we did spritzing and flicking and finally a title with some foam letters and paint..
The day flew by as always - then it was time to head home - and I had another day's crafting to look forward to....
Not so much layout scrapping but I so enjoyed it..
I actually headed in the same direction as the day before- it was in Mark's Tey again but in a craft place called Birds in the Barn - the building was in the grounds of a lovely garden centre.
I found my way to the workshop and of course - had to go find the 'ladies' before we started and I was fascinated by the landscaping of the gardens - I loved this..you had to walk through the garden centre to get to the 'ladies' and It really caught my eye.

Hels Sheridan I'd met Hels a couple of times before when we were both members of a forum and the members met up- so it was nice to see her again.The morning and part of the afternoon was spent getting very messy and inky making a beautiful tag envelope.Then the rest of the afternoon we played with techniques on some ATC's - I used to make loads of ATCs and regularly swap them- but haven't made any for ages and it was also good to re visit them! Does anyone out there still make any?
So now - it's back down to earth - time for the dreaded shopping and dinner and all that- BUT- I have signed up for Shimelle's new Cover to Cover class - which starts today- anyone else doing it? if so - see you there .

Beautiful layouts and inky bits created there Denise. Dead envious of your day with Hels. You really have had a fantastic bank holiday by the look of it.
In answer to your question about ATC's - yes! I've just started doing my projects on a mini scale to save time and stop my need to cover EVERYTHING in detail taking over.
In fact I have one of yours!! from the ATDML Cybercrop last June. It's kept with my collection of 'treasures' from fellow creatives, including Hels herself.

Some gorgeous LO's from Saturday, I especially like the 'Boys at Two' one! Looks like you had a great day on Sunday too! I've only ever made one ATC as part of a global group poject...that was enough to know they're not for me!! :D
Yep, this definitely qualifies as a great story - it's full of excitement and lovely details. Very enjoyable! I have never made an ATC, but I'm admiring these very much indeed. Sounds like a wonderful day out

Yes, I'm doing Shimelle's class, though I'm not sure how active I'll be on the forum (or indeed how much I'll blog about it) - but I hope to bump into you there!
And yes, I do make ATCs from time to time, but I always keep them myself so really I should call them ACs.... ;)

Can't wait to see what you do with the class. I love the butterfly projects and the boys at two layout. I only do ATC's very occasionally now, but I do like them.
