Misting and Masking

I've had some My Mind's Eye papers sitting on the side of my desk for quite a while.I bought them a while ago from A Trip Down Memory Lane and as I've had a bit of a tidy up lately I decided to use them.
Masking and stencilling is something I've dabbled in once in a while. As I'd recently got some new little masks I thought I'd 'go for it' and try them out.
Here's the result..
I had a 'knife and fork' that I nearly threw out during the clear up but glad I didn't!
The flower is stamped onto and cut out of some 7Gypsies tissue paper that you can get here. I used a harlequin mask and dotty one and a random swirl that I found.
I'm always a bit wary of sprays onto layouts as they always seem to make the card warp but I flattened it after I'd done it so it wasn't too bad. I might do a bit more of this - I quite enjoyed messing about - as I always do.
Hope you're all having a nice Saturday - we've got snow forecast tomorrow - have you got any your way ? - here we go again!

and they do flatten out in your album too - all my messy ones end up under a massive pile of books for a bit and then if I am brave a light iron on cool with tea towels and no steam. Just love a bit of mess tho myself - covers up all my imperfections!
