Lord of the dance ...

For my birthday this year, my eldest son bought me tickets to see Michael Flatley's new show in November. I'm one who loves to go to concerts, and I suddenly thought to myself that it's getting nearer the time for it soon so I thought I'd do a layout in anticipation...can't wait.
and then I decided to scrap a picture that has been sitting in the 'not sure about this one' pile,I had some Girls Paperie bits left and I was feeling in a 'pink' mood!

Then, on to a layout for May Flaum's class- this is a week three page- blimey I can't believe three weeks have gone by already...I'm home alone this afternoon,so I might just get on with a bit of hooky stuff. I started a new ripple a couple of nights ago.....

What lovely pages :-) And what a great idea to scrap the anticipation before the event! xx

The colors of the ripple blanket you've started are really pretty. Are you making it people or doggie size? Either way, it looks like a fun project. I haven't made a ripple yet, hmm..may have to add it to my must make list...

Oh, Denise, I love the color and the pattern of the new blanket you have started. I have wanted to do a granny stripe blanket since seeing yours. I have mastered the granny square so I think I can manage it, just not sure how to start and what to do at the end of each row. I learned the granny square from a YouTube video so I'm hoping there will be one for the blanket as well. :o)

I love the idea of getting your excitement down on paper like that, it's a perfect subject for a layout.

I'm loving the look of the new ripple.

I too think it's a great idea to do a LO of the anticipation of an event. I'm thinking I might do that one day x

I'm back because I meant to say, yes! I do remember the sheep jumpers and I always wanted one. Get yours out of the loft - it's an heirloom!

I absolutely love your pages, especially the girly pink one. The blanket you have started is gorgeous, it reminds me of ice cream.

Lovely colours in your ripple blanket. I see there are a few of us crocheting this pattern at the moment in Blogland. Who's gonna finish first I wonder?
Thanks for your comment on my Blog.
