Making flowers

What did I get up to today? Well,I had a lovely day with two lovely friends at the monthly Eclectic Keepsakes crop.
The morning was spent doing our own projects. In the afternoon Karen had designed a gorgeous project which encompassed making beautiful flowers and a butterfly in lots of different ways with paper and vellum. We used the gorgeous yummy Girl's Paperie papers which I love.I haven't put mine together yet but here is a sneaky of the gorgeous flowers and the butterfly we made....

....and a photo of yours truly and Deb

Mine may not have so many acetate buds on it for some strange reason ;-) I have one left to do, am going to have a nice glass of wine with dinner and then sit down and have one last go at doing it myself!
Was a great crop though wasn't it? I loved the idea of learning lots of new things in one project. Not to mention catching up with good friends ;-)
