Scary stuff

A bit of a strange topic I know but I've just been looking through a few of 'film's scariest moments' and it got me thinking...as it's that time of year . I'm not one for any gory stuff and give all those type of blood and gore type films a very wide berth.. One of the films that spooked me out the most when Iwas younger was actually on tv a couple of weeks ago - it's called 'Don't look now' and is a story set in Venice with Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie in.I remember watching it when I was younger and it really really put me off ever going to Venice only because I thought I would see the little red coat running about in the side streets.... anyone else seen it ?
and what is the film that has spooked you the most ?I still get goosebumps when I see this....

oooh and what about the two sisters and one of them has those funny eyes ?? -Oh and 'The Omen' spooked me too - mind you,we are talking about quite a few years ago !

The film Seven did it for me ~ Brad Pitt & Morgan Freeman ~ truly terrifying, the film that is, not the actors!

I can't cope with scary films at all, I'm a complete wuss! I don't think I could ever watch 'Don't Look Now' (though I have read a little about it) - especially if it might spoil Venice for me...

I love Venice! So better stay away from the movie, as I get scared easily. The Amityville Horror scared the bejessus out of me as a kid - at least I think that was it. There was a scary pig that peered into a window. The last scary movie that I saw and enjoyed was American Werewolf in London - scary but funny at the same time.

I have scene the film you mean and must admit it rattles you a bit. I love horror films but nothing with too much goar!

Just seeing that one small clip of the red coat made a shiver go down my spine! That film spooked me so much when I originally saw it, but I saw it again recently and maybe it's because I knew the twist, but it didn't seem so bad. But when the character in the red coat turns round at the end ..... still creepy. Have you read the book? It's really good. Wouldn't stop me from going back to Venice though!

Like Rinda, I love Venice too. When I was there (almost 20 years ago) I remember having a crazy dream about being trapped in a maze. The sidewalks and canals there are so intertwined and felt like an endless maze!

Anyway, I don't do scary movies myself...just can't handle the blood and guts and...well...scary-ness!

Oh, yes I remember that one - it's that little red coat! Very creepy. I saw a film once about someone being kept underground in a coffin shaped box - that was enough to put me off horror fims for a very long time.

I cannot do scary films at all. Even the old black and white vampire movies used to have me going to bed armed with garlic and crosses! I cannot for the life of me understand the teenage obsession of paying to go to the cinema to have the life scared out of you.
