The house is alive

With the sound of music.......
Rihanna upstairs,MTV downstairs, there are cups and bowls in the lounge, the washing looks like Mount Everest, doors are open everywhere and the fridge is busy....oh how I love half term/reading week/whatever you call it! One boy back from Uni and another back from Las Vegas telling us all about the brilliant fountains outside the hotels that go up and down and 'dance' to the music that is played loudly outside.

I must say Vegas is somewhere I've always fancied going to just to experience it.After seeing the eldest's video of it on his iPhone - I  fancy going even more now. To think he went all that way and didn't pop in and ask Donny for a photo !After seeing son's video I had a little search and found this - it's lovely.I now understand why his girlfriend said they kept going back to see the fountain!

...
I'll leave you with another layout from the ATDML retreat. This is a second one designed by  Ann Freeman
These two photos are of me and my friend Karen, one when we were teenagers in 1974 and one taken a couple of weeks back. A friendship spanning 37 years, how old do I feel!

Have a great Saturday everyone..

How wonderful that your friendship has lasted that long.
I quite fancy Vegas myself.

The "forever" friendships are the best kind!

Long term friends are a treasure. Your layout is a great affirmation of that tie. Very pretty!

Wow, that's one excellent friendship :)

All I know about Vegas comes from that National Lampoon film ..

I never realised you knew her from school - always assumed you met while working together at OSL! Isn't it lovely to have them home again? Although my washing machine is whirring non stop ... but I do smile when I wake up to the sound of a guitar strumming!

Hi Denise
Alice and I saw those fountains at the Bellagio 2 years ago and they were amazing! We wanted to say hello to Donny but he (and Barry Manilow) were on their Easter break. You HAVE to visit Vegas! Love the layout - good friends are very precious x

Such a beautiful layout.

Its been many many years since I went to Vegas, and it's changed so much ... plus I was under 21 and couldn't even stand in the reception due to gambling laws, so how I'd love to go back now .. maybe one day :)
