One o'clock this morning....

 In the garden....it was very cold !


It seemed a lot brighter than normal but I didn't notice that much difference ..but then I s'pose I don't stare at the moon that much....

I love the second photo - so misty and luminous. The moon looks nice peering through the tree branches too.
I'm afraid I was snoring gently (I hope!) at 1am. Hope you remembered to make a special wish!

Unfortunately around us last night the moon was extremely hazy and not near as big as it was the previous evening when I tried photographing it (no where near as good as your photos).

The previous evening it was very very big and round and bright and shining before it got dark which is what made me notice it when I was putting my car away in the garage for the night.

I was disappointed with it last night as it was supposed to be the closest to the earth it has been for about 18 years.

Beautiful pictures! I loved the super moon and wish I'd gotten some pictures of it too!
