A potato for Anniversaries

So anyway, there I was at work this afternoon when my phone went off, it was himself declaring he was in Tescos and we were going to have a barbeque for dinner this evening.....'Are you sure' ?came my reply as it looked a tad grey outside. 'I've bought the potatoes, sausages and steak,do we need anything else ? ' he was so enthusiastic, I decided to go with it and after all - I wouldn't have to cook.......

.........'nuff said !

...and while doing the potatoes I came across a nice romantic one ..
...well, sort of!
.......and here is that card I made for Brother In Law ..now I'm off to hopefully do a bit of scrapping..

Looks like you should have said 'waterproof gazebo'!! It's pretty grey here as well today, but at least it hasn't actually rained.Hope you still enjoyed the food...steak sounds good.

Ha Jackie, great idea! I remember Jonathan's bbq's - whenever our friend J. had a bbq, it rained. We used to go into his car-port to cook, then eat indoors. It was still fun!
Hope the food was great anyway.

This post should feature on "Romantic Vegetables of the World"... did you cook him that spud for his tea?

Love the birthday card. It looks like a lot of work went into that. I'm sure it will be appreciated.

I'm with you. Any time hubby wants to BBQ, that means I can throw together a salad and side dish. Cute photo with the umbrella, now thats what I call a man on a mission!

I guess that once he'd decided it was going to be bbq for dinner, no weather report would deter him! Love the photos, hope he didn't make you eat it outside in the rain too. What a cute potato, did he choose that one specially? What a romantic soul he is ;-)

That potato is such fun...you have to include that in a LO about your romantic BBQ!! I have some great photo's of DH & gas BBQ under the awning while rain like stair rods creates an interesting background! I hate to say it but we even stood under the awning to eat too...all in the very British BBQ spirit!!!
